The process for applying is:

1)  Submit your CV, digital portfolio and a covering letter explaining why you think Bishopsland is for you to c.murdoch@bishopsland.org.uk

2)  You will be invited to attend an admissions day where we will show you our facilities and you’ll have the opportunity to chat to the current cohort of Makers on the 2025/26 programme. There will be a short informal interview, and you should bring examples of your sketchbooks and work with you.

Admissions day will be held on:

• 20 January
• 3 February
• 10 February
• 17 March

3)  If you are offered a place (please note that we are usually over-subscribed) and you wish to accept, a deposit will be requested to confirm your place.

The programme will run from Monday 21 September 2026 (moving in weekend 19/20 September) and will finish Friday 25 June 2027.  The programme is delivered in three modules, allowing for Christmas and Easter holidays.
