The Newby Trust Bursary

The Newby Trust has generously funded a full Programme Fee bursary for a Maker joining our 2025/2026 programme. The bursary will be means tested. Makers who have attended an admission open day and completed the admissions process will be able to apply. We will notify the successful recipient in May.

Bishopsland is committed to supporting early-in-career makers to extend their skills and develop their commercial practices, yet we appreciate that this requires a significant financial commitment.

We are delighted to have partnered with The Newby Trust, a charity which supports young people to access artistic and sporting activities, nurture ability and talent, improve the quality of life and health for disadvantaged groups, and protect the environment.
