This box depicts a stag and doe in the grassy hills, with the river running through which trails to the base of the box. With the body of the box (sides) you can see various wild grasses and flowers as well as a few small insects. The inside is gold plated, with two dragonflies hidden inside!

Katie’s work is an interpretation of nature’s beauty. Her making process starts with a walk, and from this, she draws anything that has captured her imagination. Her drawings are directly transferred onto metal using the technique of chasing and repoussé allowing her to recreate every desired detail and produce a wonderland of nature in a unique piece of silverware or jewellery.
