Jane Short is a well established enameller whose colourful but subtle decorative engraved and enamelled silverware is included in several significant collections in the UK.

Trained in the 1970’s in jewellery making at the Central School of Art and Design, and then silversmithing at London’s School of Art, Jane specialises in the art of enamelling both on silverware and jewellery. Through both her teaching and enamel work Jane has helped to keep the fascinating of enamelling a vibrant and colourful part of the contemporary silversmithing and jewellery world.
