Ring in a Day
Explore the insightful process of making a silver ring which you will design, make and take home. Our experienced tutor will teach you how to transform a bar of Silver into a beautiful wearable ring. You will be helped through every step of designing, hammer forming, texturing and finishing your ring. We will also give you some helpful hints on how to care for your silver jewellery.
All the tools, materials and teaching needed to produce your ring will be provided.
The course is suitable for beginners with no prior jewellery making experience, or for those with some knowledge who’d like to refresh and extend their skills.
At the end of the day you will receive a certificate from Bishopsland Educational Trust and the silver ring will be yours to keep.
You can do this course as a stand alone or book multiple short courses to build up a bank of jewellery and metal smithing skills.
