Stacker Rings in a Day

You will design and make a set of silver stacker rings employing specialist techniques to design and make your jewellery.
Our experienced tutor will teach you how to transform silver into a set of rings. You will gain knowledge of designing, forming and finishing your rings using a variety of silversmithing methods and hand tools.
All the tools, materials (including sterling silver) and teaching needed to produce your rings will be provided.
The course is suitable for beginners with no prior jewellery making experience, or for those with some knowledge who’d like to refresh and extend their skills. As our courses are limited to a maximum of 8 attendees, you will have expert tuition and we can adapt the teaching to suit your level of skill and desired outcome.
You can do this course as a stand alone or book multiple short courses to build up a bank of jewellery and metal-smithing skills.
Suitability: The course is open to anyone with an interest in jewellery making who is 18 years of age and above.
What to bring/wear: All tools and material are included. Please wear practical clothes and footwear (closed shoes, no open toes) and ensure arms/legs are covered. If you have long hair, please tie it back. You will need to bring an apron and a packed lunch. We have full use of Buscot village hall which is equipped with a fridge, microwave etc. Alternatively, cafes in Faringdon, Coleshill or Lechlade are approx a 10 minute car journey away.
Accessibility: There is parking on site. There are some uneven surfaces such as cobbles due to the historic nature of the Estate. Seating is provided but the nature of the course may necessitate some standing. Please contact us if you would like to have an informal chat about access prior to booking.
