Talented silversmiths join Bishopsland Fellows

Congratulations to the cohort of 2024/25 for becoming the latest talented silversmiths to join our illustrious Bishopsland Fellows – following over 250 makers who have gone before.

On 19 July we celebrated the end of the programme with a final exhibition and awards ceremony. Well done to all and for those moving to exciting new opportunities, we cannot wait to see what you will create, discover and achieve.

Special congratulations go to:

Beca Fflur – Jane Goodman Award<

Aimee Mackay – Progression in Silversmithing & Jewellery
Ruiyi Wang – Excellence in Design
Cynthia Yang – Excellence in Jewellery

Finlay Grant – Excellence in Silversmithing

Three makers will return for a second year and they will be joined by nine new emerging silversmiths in September, for what will be our second year in our new workshops.

Whilst we continue to fundraise to enable the further conversion of facilities at Hills Yard, with a second Creative Workshop being our primary focus, we are delighted that we’ve been able to operate without interruption.  Thank you to all who have supported us and a special thanks to this cohort for being so flexibly and adaptable as we developed the site.
