This hand chased vase is inspired by the plants and grasses which grow in the countryside of Scotland. Featuring cow parsley, poppy seed head, honesty and other various grasses and leaves.

Katie’s work is an interpretation of nature’s beauty. Her making process starts with a walk, and from this, she draws anything that has captured her imagination. Her drawings are directly transferred onto metal using the technique of chasing and repoussé allowing her to recreate every desired detail and produce a wonderland of nature in a unique piece of silverware or jewellery.
