Valentines Gift in a Day

You’ll create a silver Valentine’s gift for someone special, using expert techniques to bring your idea to life. You might make earrings, cufflinks, a pendant, or a keyring. The choice is yours.

Our experienced tutor will show you how to turn silver into a beautiful gift. You’ll learn how to design, shape, and finish your piece using different silversmithing techniques and hand tools.

All the tools, materials, and teaching needed to produce your gift will be provided.

The course is suitable for beginners with no prior jewellery making experience, or for those with some knowledge who’d like to refresh and extend their skills.

You can do this course as a standalone or book multiple short courses to build up a bank of jewellery and metal-smithing skills.

Suitability: The course is open to anyone with an interest in jewellery making who is 18 years of age and above

What to wear/bring: All tools and materials are included. Wear practical clothes and closed shoes, ensuring arms and legs are covered. Please tie back long hair. Bring an apron and your lunch, or buy lunch from Blake’s Kitchen on site. We provide tea, coffee, and water during the session.

Accessibility: There is plenty of parking on site, and accessible parking spaces are marked.  There are some uneven surfaces, such as cobbles, due to the historic nature of the Estate. Seating is provided, but the nature of the course may necessitate some standing.  Please contact us if you would like to have an informal chat about access prior to booking.
