Takuya Kamiyama

Takuya Kamiyama produces vessels including flower vases, objects, and others which are mainly made of metal, using hammering and chasing techniques.

He interprets and incorporates somewhat grotesque forms and textures of living things, such as plants and fungus, into his works to express and seek beauty in objects not traditionally seen as such.
