The alchemy of working in metal and the creative processes involved in making by hand are important to me. I believe these hand-wrought items to be a link or a kind of visual language connecting the maker and the wearer.

Recently, my focus has been on the techniques of hammering and raising forms in silver and copper, together with the exploration of surface treatments that can be applied to these forms. I use these techniques within my practice and draw on the notions of repetition and pattern found in nature. Indigenous cultures and artefacts often inspire the forms of my pieces
