In my work, I aim to juxtapose and combine form and material, with an emphasis on mixed metals and forms abstracted from nature.
Drawing on the particular properties of metals, I work with unusual alloys, precious and base metals to either emphasise the differences or blur the boundaries between the materials.
I use traditional gold and silversmithing techniques alongside modern technologies such as 3D printing and CAD to produce complex and intricate pieces.
Influence comes from diverse sources, but I have a particular fascination with artificial forms found in the modern built environment and abstract forms in nature.
