Ayat is a Saudi artist who explored different arts before she finally found herself in metalsmithing. She gained a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Art before pursuing her Master of Arts in Jewellery. Since then, jewellery has become her focus.

Ayat believes her work is a vessel that carries cultural layers meant for communication and sharing. Her pieces express the inward and outward relationships among individuals within society. Using the same elements, techniques, and rituals, she has created a body of work that serves as a metaphor for us as human beings.
