Ayat is a Saudi artist who explored different types of arts before she finally found herself in metalsmithing. She gained a bachelors degree in Islamic Art before pursuing her Master of Arts in Jewellery.

Since then, jewellery has become a part of her and she believes her work is a vessel that carries cultural layers meant for communication and sharing. Her pieces express the inward and outward relationship amongst individuals within society.

Utilizing the same elements, techniques and rituals, she has created a body of work that serves as a metaphor for us as human beings.
