The faceted design and textured surface represents hammer strikes and marks made in metal. The faceted texture gives the surface a subtle matt finish.

Kathryn Hinton’s work focuses on merging traditional silversmithing techniques with digital technology. Alongside her handmade exhausted silverware, Kathryn uses digital process, such as rapid prototyping, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling, casting and press forming to create her faceted silverware and jewellery collections.
