This contemporary brooch has a faceted surface with fine textured detail. Based on traditional hammer strikes and marks made in metal the pendant is designed using computer aided design.

Kathryn Hinton’s work focuses on merging traditional silversmithing techniques with digital technology. Alongside her handmade exhausted silverware, Kathryn uses digital process, such as rapid prototyping, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling, casting and press forming to create her faceted silverware and jewellery collections.
