Training and education in the craft of silversmithing
We are committed to craftsmanship, innovation, and helping makers to be sustainable.
We offer 46-week residencies to help newly-established self-employed silversmiths and jewellers develop their technical skills and their businesses.
Overseas applicants have the option of a 6 month residential programme.
Design and technical skills, and individual creativity are developed through personal projects, alongside business skills for designer makers.
Business viability is firmly allied to the pursuit of excellence; our achievements are those of our Fellows who today include key emerging names in contemporary silver today: Ndidi Ekubia MA (RCA), Theresa Nguyen, Miriam Hanid, and Lin Cheung MA (RCA).
